Our view is that all GCSEs could be a mixture of academic and practical - and the mix can be determined by the student's aptitudes. Making decisions at 14 as to whether a student has an academic bent or a technical bent is far too early and will simply lead to more students being marginalised and denied opportunity.Jon, regional policy chairnoreply@blogger.com
